As we celebrate the Philadelphia Phillies' victory and prepare for an historic election we offer this window into some of the work Evolve has been involved in. We welcome your interest, feedback and support for the following:
With record turnout of voters expected on Tuesday and documented problems with touchscreen voting equipment, Evolve has again partnered up with VoterAction and other election protection organizations in producing the VoterStory web widget. VoterStory lets anyone with a website or blog be part of the non-partisan effort to make sure everyone's right to vote is guaranteed by placing a voter complaint form on their website. The distributed widget technology is easy to install yet acts as a sophisticated data collection tool allowing voters to generate detailed reports of problems they may have had at the polls. Once a complaint is submitted, an incident report is generated for volunteers working with qualified election protection organizations and their efforts to help that voter will be documented. The VoterStory web widget is available free and the data is available to voter protection organizations without charge. Please consider posting the VoterStory web widget on Tuesday November 4th. More information can be found at VoterStory.org
VoterStory was produced with support of the EvolveFoundation and the Tides Election Protection Fund. Contact us if you like to learn more about Evolve's charitable work and want to support more of it.
Freedom from Rising Energy Costs...Freedom to Power Your Life - That's the welcoming message of the new Renewable Energy International web site produced by Evolve. A boutique renewable power company and recent winner of the New Jersey Clean Tech Company of the Year award for 2008. REI is integrating hydrogen storage and fuel cells into solar and wind power systems to allow for on demand and reliable renewable power systems. In addition to helping REI with their website, Evolve produced an expert tour of REI's demonstration solar hydrogen home introducing elected officials and Philadelphia Gas Works technical experts to the potential of renewable hydrogen systems. The leader of the tour, Philadelphia City Councilman Curtis Jones invited REI to testify on October 25 as an expert during a Council hearing on sustainable development zones. A pilot project to study how renewable hydrogen could be integrated into the PGW system is now being discussed by elected officials.

Over the course of the fall campaign, Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund produced several video commercials documenting Sarah Palin's brutal policy positions against animals including her promotion of a program that rewards hunters who shoot wolves from the air. These viewers were then asked ed to support Defenders effort to show their ads in key states. Check out the video here.
